Reword: Local Discovery & Reviews Platform, End-to-End
Built Reword as a production-oriented local discovery and review ecosystem: customers search, save favorites, and leave visit-tied feedback; businesses manage profiles, reviews, and subscriptions; affiliates track referrals and payouts; and operators run verification and analytics from a dedicated admin surface—all backed by a unified Express API and MongoDB data layer.
Scope
- Consumer web app with bilingual UX (English/Spanish), discovery, business detail, reviews, favorites, and marketing pages
- Business dashboard: listings, profile setup, reviews, settings, and subscription shop
- Affiliate program: referrals, Stripe Connect payouts, transactions, and performance charts
- Admin operations: companies, customers, affiliates, review verification, and website verification reporting
- Backend: JWT and social auth (Passport), role-based access, Google My Business integration, Stripe subscriptions and webhooks, ImageKit media, email, and scheduled jobs (affiliate payouts, subscription sync)
- AI assistant on the consumer site via OpenRouter for platform Q&A
